Insulate Britain protesters have caused disruption on the M25 once again, shutting down the motorway this morning, September 30, by glueing their hands to the tarmac.

Essex Police confirmed that “All lanes of the M25 at Thurrock are blocked.” The protest led to significant traffic delays as authorities worked to manage the situation.

Nine activists have been arrested in connection with the stunt. Police acted swiftly to reopen lane two, helping to ease the gridlock and get traffic moving again.

This incident marks the eighth day of disruption on the M25 by Insulate Britain within just three weeks, causing frustration for commuters and putting pressure on emergency services.

Essex Police thanked drivers for their “patience and understanding” amid the ongoing chaos caused by the protests.
