Wiltshire Police are urgently searching for witnesses following a hit-and-run collision in Quidhampton, near Salisbury. The incident occurred at approximately 12:30pm on June 3rd when a car struck a cyclist on Lower Road before speeding away.

The cyclist sustained leg injuries and was promptly taken to hospital by paramedics. Despite the severity of the crash, the driver failed to stop and provide assistance, leaving the victim injured and distressed.

Authorities are appealing to anyone who was in the vicinity between 12:15pm and 12:30pm to come forward with any information. Police are particularly interested in dashcam footage that could help identify the vehicle involved.

Key to the investigation is locating a green Mazda MX-5, which is believed to have fled the scene heading towards Salisbury.
