Greater Manchester Police (GMP) are investigating after a gun was fired inside a business on Kingsway, Manchester, late on Sunday night, April 30.
At around 10:55pm, a tall, slim man entered the premises and fired two shots before fleeing the scene on a pedal bike. Fortunately, no one was injured during the incident.
Officers have cordoned off the area and are conducting ongoing inquiries, but no arrests have been made so far.
GMP Superintendent Paul Walker described the incident as a “targeted attack” and reassured the public that there is no danger to the wider community. He said: “We believe this was a targeted incident with no danger to the wider public.” Patrols in the area have been increased to reassure local residents.
Police are appealing for witnesses and anyone with CCTV, doorbell, or dashcam footage related to the attack to come forward. Those with information are asked to contact GMP quoting log 3453 of 30/04/2023 on 0161 856 6051 or 0161 856 6063.
