Several children and passengers were rushed to hospital following a serious collision between a tractor and a bus on the A227 South Street near Culverstone Green, Meopham. The crash occurred just before 3.30pm on May 23.

South East Coast Ambulance Service transported 12 injured patients to hospital. One of the victims was airlifted to King’s College Hospital in London with serious injuries. The emergency response included officers, paramedics, an air ambulance, and Kent Fire and Rescue teams attending the scene.

Kent Police’s Serious Collision Unit (SCIU) has launched a full investigation into the crash. They are urgently seeking dashcam and phone footage from witnesses to help determine the circumstances surrounding the incident.
