South Yorkshire Police were called on Sunday following reports raising concerns for the safety of a newborn baby in the Wincobank area of Sheffield. Officers attended and found the infant suffering from stab wounds. She was pronounced dead at the scene.

Four now charged with murder

Police have now charged two men and two women with murder in connection with the baby’s death. The development follows the initial arrest of seven people, aged between 15 and 38, during the investigation.
