Tragic Head-On Crash in Harley Mauditt Claims Man’s Life
Police are hunting for witnesses after a fatal smash near Alton last night. A silver Vauxhall Corsa and a Peugeot Boxer van collided head-on on Hartley Lane at 4.40pm on Monday, October 24.
Fatal Crash on Hartley Lane
The Corsa, driven by a 40-year-old man from Reading, was travelling opposite to the van when the collision happened. Emergency crews pronounced the man dead at the scene.
Van Driver and Passenger Injured
The van’s driver and passenger escaped with minor injuries. Both were rushed to North Hampshire Hospital as a precaution. Officers have informed the victim’s family and are offering support.
