Police are hunting witnesses and dashcam footage following a serious smash in Edenbridge.
Crash Details
The collision happened on Thursday 2 April 2026 at 5.30pm on Ide Hill Road. A blue Ford Puma and a Yamaha FZ6 motorbike were involved. The motorcyclist, a man in his 30s, was rushed to a London hospital with serious injuries. South East Coast Ambulance Service and Kent Police attended the scene.
Woman Arrested at Scene
The car’s driver, a 37-year-old local woman, was arrested on suspicion of causing serious injury by dangerous driving, drink driving, and driving while unfit. She was taken into custody but later released on bail as enquiries continue.
