Wiltshire Police are urgently searching for a hit-and-run driver who struck a man in his 50s on the B4508 between Watchfield and Highworth. The incident occurred at approximately 9:35am on Saturday, 6 December.

The cyclist suffered severe neck and back fractures as a result of the collision. The driver fled the scene, leaving the victim with life-changing injuries.

Police are appealing to anyone who witnessed the crash or has dashcam footage from the area at the time to come forward. Officers are particularly interested in locating a white Toyota Aygo seen nearby, which may provide crucial information about the driver’s identity.
