Hosepipe Havoc! Burst Water Main Drenches Whiteley Road
A burst water main sent a massive jet of water soaring 20 feet into the air and flooded a Whiteley Road in Whitley, Hampshire. The drama unfolded late Friday night, around 10pm.
Flooding Chaos Hits Mini Roundabout
Water poured downhill from the burst pipe, flooding the mini roundabout at the bottom of the road. Homes nearby have had their water pressure slashed, causing widespread supply issues.
Residents Shocked as Water Gushes
Southern Water contractors were rushed to the scene to fix the rupture. Local resident Paul Martin said, “I was taken aback seeing water gushing from the main right outside my house.”
