Armed police launched a dramatic raid in the early hours at a caravan inside the Booker Cash and Carry site in Acton, West London. A man was arrested in connection with a shocking firearms incident.

The incident began when a member of the public spotted a man waving a gun. The suspect allegedly fired twice at a motorbike rider before fleeing to a caravan located on Essex Park Mews.

Armed police response units quickly surrounded the caravan and detained the man without further trouble. During the arrest, officers recovered a firearm from the caravan.

The police have cordoned off the scene and are conducting a search of the area and the suspect’s vehicle for evidence. The condition of the motorbike rider remains unknown, with no confirmation on whether they were injured.
