Soldier Arrested Over Fatal Aldershot Hit-and-Run Released on Bail

A 24-year-old serving soldier arrested after a tragic road crash in Aldershot has been released on conditional bail, police have confirmed.

The fatal collision happened on Queens Avenue just after 7:10pm on November 8. Two teenage girls, out for a run, were struck by a black Ford Focus and died at the scene.

Man to Answer Bail in February

The soldier is due to return to Aldershot Police Station on February 14, 2017, to answer bail.
