Detectives have made a significant breakthrough in the tragic stabbing of Rohan Trotman in Peckham. On Thursday, July 6, a 19-year-old man was arrested in Kent on suspicion of murder. He remains in police custody as investigations continue.
The stabbing occurred on Sunday, June 25, at approximately 9:20pm at Nunhead Green near Gordon Road, SE15. Rohan Trotman, aged 26, was found with multiple stab wounds. A passerby quickly took him to hospital, but despite desperate medical efforts, Rohan died at 9:30am the following day. His family are now receiving support from specially trained officers.
Detective Chief Inspector Laurence Smith, from the Metropolitan Police’s Specialist Crime Command, addressed the heartbreak experienced by Rohan’s loved ones. He urged anyone who witnessed anything on the night of June 25 to come forward. “If you were near Nunhead Green around 9:20pm, any detail could be crucial,” he said.
