15-Year-Old Arrested After Teacher Assault Sparks Milford Haven School Lockdown
Weapon Brandished, Teacher Attacked
Chaos erupted at Milford Haven Comprehensive School in Pembrokeshire this afternoon when a 15-year-old pupil allegedly attacked a teacher with a weapon. The shocking incident took place around 3.20pm, forcing the school into immediate lockdown.
Lockdown Lifted, But Police Stay On Site
Dyfed-Powys Police Superintendent Chris Neve confirmed the pupils are now safe and the lockdown has been lifted. “The teacher sustained injuries but they are not stab wounds,” he said. The injured teacher is currently receiving medical treatment.
Teen Held on Attempted Murder Charge
A 15-year-old boy was arrested at the scene on suspicion of attempted murder and is in police custody. Officers remain at the school as a precaution. Most students have left the premises, with all after-school activities cancelled.
Council and Police Reassure Parents
A Pembrokeshire County Council spokesperson added: “Police attended the school following the assault report. All pupils are safe, and officers remain on site to ensure security.”
