Couple Charged with Murder of Toddler Found in Cardiac Arrest
Phylesia Shirley and Kemar Brown Face Murder Charges
Phylesia Shirley, 23, from Bensham Manor Road, CR7, and Kemar Brown, 27, of Grange Park Road, CR7, were charged on Monday, 7 December with murder and causing or allowing the death of a child.
Virtual Court Appearance Set
The pair are set to appear in custody via video link at Bromley Magistrates’ Court on Tuesday, 8 December.
Tragic Death of Two-Year-Old Kyrell Matthews
Police launched an investigation after two-year-old Kyrell Matthews was found in cardiac arrest at a Thornton Heath home on 20 October 2019. Kyrell later died, prompting the serious charges against Shirley and Brown.
