Suspected Stolen Ford Fiesta Abandoned After High-Speed Chase in Woodingdean
Sussex Police scrambled to Falmer Road, Woodingdean, in the early hours of January 2 after reports of a suspected stolen vehicle. The culprits ditched a blue Ford Fiesta following a brief but tense pursuit.
Two Brighton Teens Nabbed in Connection
Officers swiftly sealed off the scene and launched a hunt for suspects. Their efforts paid off when two Brighton youths were arrested nearby:
- A 19-year-old man faces suspicion of motor vehicle theft.
- A 17-year-old boy is charged with dangerous driving, failing to stop, and vehicle theft.
Both have since been released on bail as the police probe continues.
Police Seek Public Help
Sussex Police are on the lookout for witnesses. Anyone with CCTV or dashcam footage of the Ford Fiesta in the area around that time is urged to come forward.
