Three-Week-Old Baby Dies in Gosport as Parents Bailed by Police
A three-week-old baby from Gosport has tragically died in hospital after being rushed there with serious injuries. The infant was taken to QA Hospital last Tuesday but sadly passed away yesterday.
Parents Arrested and Then Bailed
The baby’s parents, both in their mid-20s from Forton Road, were arrested on Monday on suspicion of attempted murder. After questioning, they have now been bailed pending further inquiries, with a return date set for September.

Detectives are currently examining the family home to uncover how the infant sustained the injuries. Officers are preparing to re-interview the couple as part of the ongoing investigation.
