Three men were arrested after police conducted a drug sweep in Devizes, Wiltshire, on Sunday afternoon, November 3. The incident began shortly after 1pm when officers noticed a car driving erratically on Nursteed Road.

The driver was stopped on New Park Street, where officers immediately detected a strong smell of cannabis. A search of the vehicle revealed a stash of cash, cannabis, and a class-A drug.

Police then carried out raids at the suspects’ homes, uncovering drug paraphernalia as well as bags containing both class-B and class-A substances.

Two men in their 20s have been charged with possession with intent to supply class-B drugs. An 18-year-old man faces the same charge along with an additional charge of drug driving. All three men have been released on bail pending further investigation.

Wiltshire Police have issued a warning to residents to remain vigilant. They stated their commitment to cracking down on drug-related crime and keeping local communities safe. Authorities are encouraging the public to report any suspicious behaviour as part of ongoing efforts to combat drug distribution in the area.
