Teen Arrested Over Bournemouth Stabbing Outside Shop
A teenager is in custody following a stabbing outside a Bournemouth off licence late last year.
Knife Drama Outside ANJ Off Licence
The incident happened around 11.43pm on Sunday, 30 October 2016, outside ANJ Off Licence on St Michael’s Road. An argument erupted between two men and a member of staff.
One man reportedly pulled a knife and threatened the staff member. The victim, a late-teen from Poole, managed to wrestle the blade away, causing it to drop to the ground.
Second Man Stabs Victim in the Back
The knife was then grabbed by the second man, who stabbed the victim in the back. The young victim suffered a stab wound but has since made a full recovery.
Suspects Charged: Jail for Gure, Teen Arrested
- On Friday 23 December 2016, 24-year-old Sadiq Gure from New Addington, London, was jailed for six years. Charges were: wounding with intent and possession of a knife in public.
- On Monday 20 March 2017, a 17-year-old boy from Hertford was arrested on suspicion of affray and is aiding police with their inquiries.
