Just after 7.30pm on Friday, April 7, a violent knife fight broke out on Waverley Road in Rainham, prompting a swift response from police and ambulance crews.
Officers arriving at the scene discovered a 16-year-old boy with a knife wound to his arm. Emergency medical teams quickly transported him to an east London hospital where his injury was confirmed as not life-threatening.
A spokesperson for the Metropolitan Police stated: “Police were called at 7.32pm on Friday, April 7 to reports of males fighting at Waverley Road, Rainham. A 16-year-old male was found at the scene with a knife wound to his arm.”
“He was taken to an east London hospital by LAS, where his injury was not life threatening.”
The Metropolitan Police and London Ambulance Service continue to monitor the situation as investigations proceed.
