An 18-year-old man, Musa Hussen-Salih, has been charged with murder after a fatal stabbing in Chatham, Kent. The victim, a 19-year-old, was found with fatal stab wounds in a private home on Thorold Road during the early hours of Tuesday, 2 December 2025.

Emergency services were called to the scene at 3:11am following reports of a violent assault. Despite efforts, the victim was pronounced dead at the property. Two men were arrested on the day as part of the ongoing murder investigation.

On Thursday, 4 December, Musa Hussen-Salih, from Greenford, appeared at Sevenoaks Magistrates’ Court charged with murder. He has been remanded in custody and is due to appear next at Maidstone Crown Court on 8 December. The second suspect, a 32-year-old local man, has been released on bail while police continue their inquiries.

Kent Police are urging anyone who witnessed the attack or has video footage to come forward. Witnesses can contact the police on 01622 652006, quoting reference 46/206765/25.
