Teen Arrested Over Woolwich Stabbing Murder
A teenager arrested on Thursday, 8 July, now faces charges of murder, attempted murder of another 15-year-old, and possession of an offensive weapon.
He is set to appear at Bromley Magistrates’ Court today.
Two More Teens Held Over Fatal Stabbing
A 14-year-old and a 15-year-old, both taken into custody on Friday, 9 July, remain held at a south London police station. They were arrested on suspicion of the murder of Tamim.
Tragic Stabbing on Woolwich New Road
Police were called at 5.23pm on Monday, 5 July after reports of a stabbing on Woolwich New Road, SE18. Officers found Tamim with a single stab wound.
First aid was given immediately before paramedics arrived, but despite their efforts, Tamim was pronounced dead at the scene at 6.08pm.
Specialist officers are supporting Tamim’s grieving family during this devastating time.
