Teen Charged with Murder After Stabbing Horror in North London
17-Year-Old Teen in Custody
A 17-year-old boy was arrested on Wednesday, 8 March, and charged the very next day with murder and robbery. He appeared at Stratford Youth Court on Thursday and was remanded in custody. He is due to appear at the Old Bailey on Monday, 13 March.
Two More Arrests in Ongoing Investigation
Police also arrested a 42-year-old man on Wednesday on suspicion of murder. He remains held at an east London police station. Additionally, a 35-year-old woman was arrested on Thursday for conspiracy to commit murder but has since been released on bail pending further inquiries.
Fatal Stabbing on Arnold Road
At 10.17pm on Sunday, 5 March, emergency crews rushed to Arnold Road, N15, after reports of a stabbing. A 25-year-old man was found with serious stab wounds. Despite treatment at the scene and hospital admission, he tragically died later that night.
A post-mortem at Haringey Mortuary confirmed the cause of death was sharp force trauma to the chest.
Police Plea for Witnesses
Detective Chief Inspector Linda Bradley, leading the investigation, said: “While I am incredibly grateful to everyone who has come forward, we urgently need information from anyone in Philip Lane, Arnold Road, or Clyde Road, N15 on the night of Sunday, 5 March between 9pm and 11pm.”
