Wiltshire Police are investigating a serious assault that took place in the Eldene area of Swindon. The incident occurred in the Stubsmead neighbourhood on July 10, between 4:15 pm and 5:30 pm.
The victim, a woman, sustained injuries to her neck and chest during the attack. Authorities have confirmed that a man attempted to intervene in the violent scuffle and are eager to speak with him as part of their ongoing investigation.
Police have arrested a man in his 20s on suspicion of common assault in connection with the incident. He has since been released on bail while inquiries continue.
