Shock has spread through Southampton after a man was charged with stalking following an incident where a woman was followed to her workplace. The alarming event took place on 22 March, prompting swift police intervention.
Officers responded quickly after reports emerged that a woman in her 20s was being followed on her way to work. The unsettling situation has left the local community concerned for safety.
Johnson Kaboi Kubelabo, 26, of Brunswick Place, Southampton, was arrested shortly after the incident. He has been charged with stalking and was remanded in custody pending further court proceedings.
Kubelabo appeared before Southampton Magistrates Court on 30 March, where he was further remanded. His next scheduled hearing is at Southampton Crown Court on Friday 28 April.
