Two South London drug dealers have been jailed for operating a notorious county lines drug supply network in Basingstoke, Hampshire. Cassiel Wuta-Ofei, 27, from Priory Crescent, SE19, and Malki Martin, 24, of Fortrose Gardens, SW2, were sentenced to a combined total of nine years in prison for their roles in distributing heroin and crack cocaine.
Martin pleaded guilty in April at Inner London Crown Court to conspiracy to supply heroin and crack cocaine between February and August 2018 in Basingstoke. He also admitted to involvement in county lines drug operations in Newbury, Berkshire later in 2018, and Farnborough, Hampshire in 2019. He was sentenced to four and a half years in prison.
Wuta-Ofei was found guilty on 21 October for conspiracy to supply heroin and crack cocaine during early 2018. He received a four and a half year jail term.
Both men have been issued with eight-year Criminal Behaviour Orders. These orders prohibit them from possessing unregistered SIM cards, a measure designed to prevent them from running covert drug lines in the future.
