Sheffield Police are urgently hunting a man seen on CCTV in connection with a brutal assault involving off-duty police officers inside the Bessemer pub.
The incident took place around 5pm on Thursday, December 15, on Leopold Street. Off-duty officers attempted to intervene and calm an altercation, but the situation quickly escalated into violence.
During the chaotic scene, four individuals were punched and sustained injuries. The police have described the event as a serious assault.
Two men, aged 22 and 53, have been arrested on suspicion of assaulting an emergency worker. Both suspects remain on bail as the investigation continues.
Sheffield CID has now released CCTV images of a man they urgently want to speak to, believing he holds vital information about the brawl. Authorities are appealing to the public for help in identifying this individual.
