A jury at Chelmsford Crown Court took just two hours to convict Muhammad Shahzad, 32, of sexual assault by penetration and sexual assault by touching. The Dagenham man preyed on two women last February, pretending to be a masseuse trainer.

Fast Justice After Shocking Crimes

The attacks happened on 13 February 2023 and were reported to police the same day. Officers swiftly tracked down Shahzad, arresting him two days later. Despite his denials, the evidence was rock solid.

“Our officers compiled a case so compelling a jury took just two hours to decide he was guilty,” a police spokesperson said.

Sentencing Set for May

Shahzad, of Shortcroft Road, faces sentencing at Chelmsford Crown Court on 21 May. His swift conviction sends a clear message: predators posing as helpers won’t get away with it.
