A serious crash occurred in Rolvenden when a silver Vauxhall Omega smashed into a wooden fence on Hastings Road, Cranbrook. The incident has prompted a detailed investigation by local authorities.
The collision took place shortly after 6.30pm on Monday, 30 August 2021. The vehicle was travelling towards Newenden when it lost control and collided with the fence.
Kent Police and the South East Coast Ambulance Service responded promptly to the scene. The driver, a man in his late 30s, sustained serious injuries and was taken to hospital. He is currently in stable condition.
The Serious Collision Investigation Unit is actively seeking the driver of a grey or silver 4×4 vehicle. Officers believe this driver either witnessed the crash or passed the scene shortly after it occurred.
