Serial Rapist Musaddaq Hoque Jailed for Life After Harrowing Victim Testimonies
A vile serial abuser and convicted rapist has been slammed with a rare life sentence after victims revealed the terrifying torment they endured. Musaddaq Hoque, 37, once of St Luke’s Road, Notting Hill, will spend a minimum of 14 years and eight months behind bars for a brutal crime spree that left two women shattered.
Victim’s Heartbreaking Words Break Court Silence
Hoque appeared emotionless via video link from prison as one victim bravely told the court:
“I was not just violated. I was broken in a way that can’t be undone. I am no longer able to trust people. It took away something from me that can never be returned. You are a psychopath… a Jekyll and Hyde who can change your personality with the flick of a switch.”
The second victim revealed how Hoque financially manipulated, physically attacked, and sexually violated her, causing ongoing flashbacks and panic attacks.
Judge Condemns “Manipulative and Dangerous” Predator
Judge Ross Cohen, visibly moved during sentencing at Snaresbrook Crown Court, said:
“This was not isolated offending. You manipulated vulnerable women, including one who was divorced and grieving. You exploited her culture and took advantage of her dowry savings.”
The judge branded Hoque a “serious and ongoing danger to women.” He must serve at least 14 years and eight months before parole and will remain on the Sex Offenders Register for life.
Long History of Violence and Abuse
This wasn’t Hoque’s first conviction. In 2023, he received a 10-year sentence for 15 years of horrific abuse — including burning a woman with a cigarette and threatening her with acid.
In his latest case, two more women came forward describing a trail of rape, assault, and coercive control. Hoque’s criminal record also includes:
- Drug dealing in 2011
- Deliberately knocking over a cyclist in 2014
- Multiple domestic violence offences, including a 2018 assault
- Harassment, stalking, and threats against former partners
Rare Life Sentence Reflects Brutality
Life sentences for rape are rare, but Judge Cohen ruled Hoque’s repeated, extreme offences demanded it:
“The risk you pose is high, and the harm you cause is life-altering. The women you hurt will carry your abuse with them forever.”
