Serious Crash on Hayling Island: Cyclist Hit on Langstone Road
Police urgently seek witnesses after a collision between a motorcycle and a pedal bike on Hayling Island.
Crash Details: Motorcycle and Bike Collide
The smash happened around 11pm on Friday, October 21, on the southbound side of Langstone Road. A red Honda 125cc bike and a dark Carrera Vengence pedal cycle collided, sending both riders crashing to the ground.
Victims Injured: Serious Head Trauma for Cyclist
The cyclist, a 59-year-old man from Havant, suffered a serious head injury and was rushed to wiltshire999.co.uk/entity/southampton-general-hospital/" title="Southampton General Hospital" data-wpil-keyword-link="linked">Southampton General Hospital. The 28-year-old motorcyclist from Hayling Island escaped with a minor leg injury.
Police Appeal: Who Saw the Crash?
PC Peter Sarginson said: “We want to hear from anyone who witnessed the collision or saw either vehicle near Langstone Road at around 11pm on October 21.”
