Knife-Wielding Gang Jailed After Terrifying Ashford Burglary

Midnight Nightmare as Masked Thieves Attack Sleeping Man

In the early hours of Saturday, 20 July 2024, Ashford was rocked by a terrifying knife-wielding raid. Three men broke into a home at around 3am while the victim slept on his sofa. He woke to a man looming over him with a knife, threatening and punching him as two others ransacked the property.

Bound and Beaten, but Victim Makes Daring Escape

The victim was pressed repeatedly for valuables and had his hands bound with tape. Despite beatings and brutal threats, he fought back, breaking free and fleeing while the crooks weren’t looking.

Designer Gear, Cash, and Car Stolen in Shambolic Heist

The gang fled in the victim’s car, making off with designer clothes, jewellery, cash, and his mobile phone. Their botched raid left a shaken victim and a community in shock.

Three Thugs Locked Up, One Walks Free

Kent Police acted fast, arresting four suspects:

  • Sukhjeevan Singh, 27, Gascoyne Road, London
  • Luca Gentry-Prosper, 19, Ash House, London
  • Adheem Misson, 20, Telscombe Cliffs Way, Peacehaven, East Sussex

The fourth man was cleared and released. All three pleaded guilty at Canterbury Crown Court in December 2025. On Tuesday 2 December, Gentry-Prosper and Misson copped six-year jail terms. Singh dodged immediate prison but was handed a two-year suspended sentence on Wednesday 3 December. Justice served after a night of terror in Ashford.
