A Mercedes crashed on Oxford Road at around 1:20am, resulting in three men being seriously injured. Emergency services attended the scene, provided treatment, and then rushed the injured men to hospital.
Oxford Road was closed overnight due to the incident, causing significant disruption. The road has now reopened to traffic.
A 22-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of causing serious injury by driving without due care and attention. Greater Manchester Police’s Serious Collision Investigation Unit is investigating the crash and is appealing for witnesses to come forward.
