Kielan Shennan, a resident of Munn Road, Manchester, has been sentenced to three years and nine months in prison for his involvement in a county lines drug operation. The operation supplied crack cocaine and heroin to the Lancashire areas of Burnley and Rossendale.
The Greater Manchester Police (GMP) county lines team identified Shennan as the key operator behind a busy drug line mobile number. Using phone records and CCTV footage, officers were able to link him directly to the supply chain, leading to his arrest on 16 August 2023.
During a search of Shennan’s home, police found a large quantity of heroin and over £1,500 in cash. This evidence demonstrated his leading role in organising ‘drug runners’ and managing the Class A drug supply network.
PC J Claxton of the GMP county lines team stated, “Shennan was a significant figure in a county line supplying crack cocaine and heroin into Burnley and Rossendale. This sentence sends a clear message to those involved in drug supply.”
Shennan pleaded guilty to multiple charges including supplying cocaine, possession with intent to supply heroin, and handling criminal cash under the Misuse of Drugs Act 1971.
