A disturbing assault and indecent exposure shocked staff at a Southampton asylum seekers’ hotel. Sukirthan Thangrasha, 38, from Sri Lanka, exposed himself after attacking two employees, a court heard.

The terrifying incident unfolded on 15 August 2025 at Highfield House Hotel in Southampton. Thangrasha now faces trial at Portsmouth Crown Court, charged with one count of exposure. He’s already pleaded guilty to assaulting two staff members during the ordeal.
