Man Charged After Evening Attack
A 27-year-old man has been charged with rape following a terrifying incident in a Worthing car park. Suleman Mukaish, from Cambridge Road, Worthing, is accused of attacking a woman in her 20s at Lyndhurst Road Car Park at around 8pm on Wednesday, March 11.
Custody and Court Date Set
Mukaish is now in custody and is due to appear at Crawley Magistrates’ Court on Monday, March 16. Sussex Police say the attack is an isolated incident and no one else is being sought in connection with the case.
Victim Supported by Specialists
Specialist officers are currently supporting the victim as the investigation continues. Police urge anyone with information to come forward, but stress the accused acted alone.
