Matthew Campbell, 37, with no fixed address, has been charged with a series of serious offences. He faces multiple counts of making indecent images of children across categories A, B, and C. Additionally, Campbell is charged with dangerous driving and driving while disqualified.
The charges against Campbell arose after a dramatic police pursuit on the M60 motorway on Thursday, 9 April 2026. Officers initiated the chase after identifying the offences, which led to his arrest.
Campbell has been remanded in custody and is scheduled to appear at Manchester & Salford Magistrates’ Court on 11 April 2026. Police investigations into the case are ongoing.
