Man Charged Over Hate Crime Spree in North West London
A man with no fixed address, Ionut-Cristian Bold, has been hit with multiple charges after a police probe into racially and religiously aggravated attacks in north west London.
Serious Charges Laid
- Six counts of racially or religiously aggravated criminal damage
- One count of racially or religiously aggravated harassment without violence
- Three counts of destroying or damaging property
- One count of possessing an article with intent to destroy or damage property
Bold is due to appear before Willesden Magistrates Court at 10am on Monday, 15 September.
Police Crack Down on Hate Crime
“We will always treat allegations of this nature extremely seriously, and these charges follow an investigation by a team of local officers. We continue to offer support to local residents, including members of the Jewish community,” said Superintendent Zubin Writer, who oversees policing in Barnet, Brent and Harrow.

Between Thursday, 4 September and Thursday, 11 September 2025, several premises in Golders Green were targeted with a suspicious substance smeared across them. The incidents sparked outrage and concern within the community.
