Grandad Murder Horror: Tommy Scott Guilty as Gerald Pragnell’s Body Found Near Southampton – Wiltshire999

A man has admitted to killing a grandfather whose body was discovered near Southampton Common.

Tommy Scott, 34, of no fixed address, appeared via video link at Winchester Crown Court. He pleaded guilty to murdering 66-year-old Gerald Pragnell.

Mr Pragnell’s body was found in woodland off Cemetery Road on November 3. The shocking discovery sent shockwaves through the local community.

Scott will be sentenced on January 14. The case has left many asking how such violence could happen to a beloved grandad.
