Kent Police responded promptly at 6.10pm on Sunday, 16 June 2024, following a collision between a car and a motorcycle on Bouverie Road West, Folkestone, near Tesco Express.

Reports indicate that three people inside the car fled the scene on foot immediately after the crash, leaving the area in disorder. Police launched a search to locate the suspects.

Shortly after the incident, a 33-year-old man and two teenage boys were arrested on suspicion of motoring offences, including dangerous driving and failing to stop after an accident.

The motorbike rider, a man in his 20s, sustained a hip injury and was taken to a local hospital for treatment. His condition is currently being monitored by medical staff.

Police continue to investigate the incident and are urging anyone who witnessed the collision or has dashcam footage from 6pm to 6.30pm in the vicinity to come forward. Witnesses can contact Kent Police on 01843 222289, quoting reference 46/99487/24.
