Kent Police responded to a report of an injured man at a Camden Square address just before 2am on Thursday 16 May 2024 after being alerted by the South East Coast Ambulance Service.
Officers found a man in his 40s suffering from stab wounds. He received immediate treatment at the scene before being transported to hospital for further care. Earlier that night, the victim had been robbed of money in Boundary Park, Ramsgate.
The investigation into the violent incident has resulted in five arrests. Two suspects have been formally charged, with others either released or still under investigation.
Kelly Giles, 37, of Hurst Grove, Ramsgate, has been charged with assault with intent to cause grievous bodily harm and robbery. She is scheduled to appear at Canterbury Crown Court on Monday 1 July.
Karl Webb, 46, who has no fixed address, faces charges of assault with intent to cause grievous bodily harm, robbery, and possession of a blade in public. Webb will appear at Canterbury Crown Court on Monday 17 June.
A 40-year-old woman from Ramsgate has been bailed pending further enquiries. Additionally, a 37-year-old woman and a 44-year-old man from Ramsgate were released without charge.
Kent Police continue their investigation into the Boundary Park robbery and stabbing as the local community awaits justice.
