Grieving families of the 179 victims from the Jeju Air crash last December have launched a fierce legal battle against Boeing in Seattle. They accuse the aviation giant of deadly manufacturing defects that caused the disaster.
Landing Gear Failure Blamed for Tragedy
The lawsuit targets critical faults in the plane’s landing gear. Flight 7C2216 went down on December 29 at Muan International Airport, killing everyone on board.
Legal Teams Gear Up for Court Fight
Two of the three law firms representing the victims have already filed lawsuits in King County Superior Court, Washington. The third is set to file its claim soon.
“Boeing bears full responsibility for defects behind this fatal accident,” said a spokesperson for the families’ legal team.
