Early Morning Break-In Theft Shocks Margate Residents
In the early hours of 29 October 2022, a private home on the High Street was burgled. Thieves stole a haul including two bicycles, a boat engine, a fishing box packed with reels, seven fishing rods, and a stash of tools.
Two Arrested But Still on Bail
Following police investigations, a 42-year-old man and a 34-year-old woman, both from Margate, were arrested on suspicion of burglary on Friday 18 November. They have been released on bail until 14 February 2023 awaiting further inquiries.
