Police have launched an investigation after a man was attacked in broad daylight on Mile End Road, Bethnal Green, East London. The stabbing incident took place just before 4pm on Sunday, June 28th.
Officers arrived at the scene outside Mazahirul Uloom community school to find a large pool of blood and a discarded mask. A heavy police cordon remains in place, with officers and tape blocking off the area.
The Metropolitan Police confirmed that the man suffering from a stab injury was taken to hospital. While his current condition is unknown, authorities have stated that his injuries are not life-threatening. The crime scene remains active, but no arrests have been made so far.
A Met Police spokesman said: “Officers are on scene in Mile End Road after a male was found with a stab injury at approximately 3:50pm. If you witnessed the attack or have any information, please call 101 and quote CAD5225/28June.”
