Kent Police were called to a home on Henderson Drive in Dartford at 6.50am on Saturday 17 August 2024 after concerns were raised for a woman’s safety. Officers arrived alongside the South East Coast Ambulance Service and found the woman suffering from stab wounds. Sadly, she was pronounced dead at the scene.
The Crown Prosecution Service has charged 20-year-old Ernestas Juska, a local resident, with murder. He also faces a separate charge of committing a sexual offence against the deceased woman. Juska remains in police custody as he awaits his court appearance at Medway Magistrates’ Court on Monday 19 August.
Police continue to investigate the circumstances surrounding this brutal attack. Neighbours and local residents are coming to terms with the shock and horror of the incident, which occurred on what began as a quiet weekend morning in Dartford.
