Police are currently at the scene of a collision involving two lorries in the eastern tunnel of the Dartford Crossing. The crash occurred shortly after 11.20am on Thursday, 14 October 2021, according to Kent Police.
One driver sustained a leg injury in the incident. Paramedics from the South East Coast Ambulance Service are attending to the injured driver and providing medical care on site. The eastern tunnel remains closed as emergency crews continue to manage the situation.
While the western tunnel remains open, traffic is building up on the approaches to the crossing in Kent. Drivers are being warned to expect significant delays and are advised to consider alternative routes where possible to avoid congestion.
