Gedling’s Operation Reacher Team, backed by Arnold Neighbourhood Police, conducted a significant raid at a Carlton address in Honeywood Court. The location was identified as a hotspot for drug dealing activities.
During the operation, officers recovered about 50 wraps of suspected crack cocaine and heroin. In addition to these Class A drugs, police also found cannabis, knives, mobile phones, scales, deal bags, and various drug paraphernalia.
A 25-year-old man and a 30-year-old woman were arrested on multiple charges. These include possession with intent to supply Class A and B drugs, possession of an offensive weapon, and improper importing of Class B drugs.
Sergeant James Carrington, who leads Gedling’s Operation Reacher Team, commented on the raid: “This was another really good result. We are listening to the community’s concerns and are committed to smashing drug supply networks.”
He added, “We work closely with partners like UK Border Force and won’t stop until our streets are clean. We urge the public to pass on any info about dealers to help us keep the area safe.”
