Two men from Brighton have been charged with drug offences after being caught with crack cocaine and heroin in a police operation. Hodyfa Al-Ani and Robin Paige, both aged 22, admitted to dealing Class A drugs following their arrest.
Police officers became suspicious of the pair when they were seen loitering around St George’s Mews on 17 February. Upon stopping and searching them, officers found controlled substances in their possession.
In addition to the drugs, a knuckle duster was discovered on Robin Paige, resulting in an additional charge for possession of an offensive weapon.
The day after their arrest, both men were formally charged and appeared at Brighton Magistrates’ Court on 18 February. They pleaded guilty to drug supply and possession offences, allowing for swift legal proceedings and justice served by the local police force.
