Bomb Scare in Ramsgate Sparks Massive Police Response
Police have extended their cordon to 100 metres around Charlotte Court, off Harbour Street in Ramsgate, after suspicious materials were discovered in a flat this afternoon. Officers were called to the scene at 3:26pm.

A bomb disposal robot is currently examining the suspicious items. As a precaution, police have evacuated residents from Charlotte Court, Harbour Street, York Street, and Queen Street amid the ongoing investigation.

Ramsgate Leisure Centre has been set up as an emergency centre to assist those displaced by the incident, providing shelter and support while the bomb squad works.
