Cambridge cops slam the cell door on drug dealer caught flogging in broad daylight. Kiama Guy, 27, was nabbed selling from the boot of his white Audi right on Regent Terrace.

Busted in Broad Daylight

On September 30, 2023, a sharp-eyed member of the public tipped off police after spotting Guy swapping small packets of drugs for cash with multiple buyers.

When officers arrived, Guy tried to make a run for it but soon came back shirtless and without the suspicious holdall. He claimed he’d been eating nearby – but cops weren’t having it. The bag held class A and B drugs, all seized on the spot.

Two Years Inside

At Cambridge Crown Court on January 29, Guy admitted possessing cannabis, ketamine, MDMA, and psilocin with intent to supply. The judge handed him a two-year prison sentence.

Police Praise Public for Quick Action

“This was blatant drug dealing in a busy public area, witnessed by members of the community. Their quick reporting allowed us to respond quickly and secure vital evidence. We will continue to target those who choose to bring drugs and associated harm into our communities,” said Detective Constable Abbie Ellis.
