Violence erupted at the Music Shop Bar in New Rents, Ashford, just before 11pm on Sunday, June 30, 2024. Kent Police responded swiftly after receiving reports of a man and woman being assaulted at the venue.
The male victim sustained a head injury and was taken to a local hospital for treatment. The incident caused significant disturbance at the Ashford night spot.
Following the assault, police arrested two men who have now been charged in connection with the attack. Both suspects were remanded in custody and are scheduled to appear in court next month.
Detectives are actively seeking a key witness, described as a man who was seen during the incident. Authorities believe this individual may have crucial information that could assist in advancing the investigation.
